A Word from the Principal

The Ness Wadia College of Commerce, affiliated to the University of Pune, has over the last three decades and a half established itself as one of India's most renowned institutions of higher learning in the field of business studies. With more than 4000 Students on its roll, its academic programmes are one of the most sought after in the country. With many of its alumni in prominent positions in the US and other countries, and a large number of overseas students from more than 30 countries applying for admission every year, the college has earned its reputation abroad too.
We believe it is a business school with a difference, providing a holistic perspective on business in a globalizing world. More particularly it offers a point of view of a developing economy that is fast industrializing within a democratic framework based on equality and justice.

At Ness Wadia, a student is encouraged to expose himself to diverse views and ideas, and thus develop an all-round personal outlook. Its student community is highly cosmopolitan and modern and therefore very receptive to this effort. We believe this makes a Ness Wadian, heir to a unique legacy that helps him stand out in his/her later life. The BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and the BBM (Bachelor of Business Management) (International Business) and BCA(Bachelor of Computer Applications) are the recent additions to the ever growing portfolio of academic programmes of the college. As in the case of other programmes of the college, these programmes too have evoked an overwhelming response from the student community.
