The College Library is well equipped with a large number of text-books, reference-books periodicals, journals and news papers. The total number of books in the Library is at present, about 62,000. The Library receives 100 periodicals. It subscribes to Indian and Foreign periodicals in specialised areas.

In addition it receives 14 newspapers in three languages, English, Hindi and Marathi. The College Library consists of the Home Reading Section, the Book Bank and the Study or Reading Hall. The Library issues Identity Cards to bonafide students of the College. Each year admission to the Reading Hall is available strictly on the production of Identity card provided by Home Reading Section and students get two books at a time for week s duration. Books are Issued daily to the post-graduate students while these are issued twice a week to others.

Books are issued during holidays as well. About 3,100 books have been distributed to 500 students. This facility is mainly available to B.C. and E.B.C. students. The Study Section of the Library remains open from 9-00 a.m. to 5-00p.m.During the examination period the library is open on Saturdays and Public Holidays as well. The Book Lovers' Group is a unique activity of the college library that enhances student's knowledge of literature and sharpens his presentation skills.
